Debbie's Wedding Parlour experience began in 1987 when she became a Wedding Parlour bride, purchasing her bridal gown, maid gowns and renting tuxedos here for her big day. She became an employee several years later and over the course of her twelve year employment with The Wedding Parlour, has held many different positions from pressing to management. She enjoys coming to work among great friends in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to working at The Wedding Parlour, Debbie serves as the church administrator for Abundant Life Church - Pengilly. She received her pastor credentials in April, and pastors the church along with her husband Bill and daughter Bethani. She loves shopping, playing piano, and spending time with her family and white lab, Dakotah.
Bethani began working at The Wedding Parlour when she was 14 years old. A lot has changed since those organizing and cleaning days! Bethani excels at customer service and loves working with prom girls. She also presses all of the gowns that come into the store and gets them church ready for our #TWPbrides.
Bethani holds a degree in Intercultural Studies from North Central University and received pastor credentials in April. She is one of the youth pastors that helps with youth group at Abundant Life church in Hibbing.
Bethani became a #TWP bride in November and resides with her new husband, Brad, in Chisholm.

Bill and Teri Haig (and Leo!) Owners
Bill and Teri Haig have owned and operated The Wedding Parlour for over 20 years. Teri had been a professional seamstress for many years, sewing for several clients and businesses in the area, including The Wedding Parlour. In 1996 when Bill and Teri took the leap to purchase the shop, they began plans to build a new free standing building to accommodate their growing business. Using logs from their family homestead in Deer River, the beautiful log building was completed and they moved into their new location on March 1, 2004. Bill keeps busy maintaining the beautiful Wedding Parlour building and property, and he owns a portable sawmill business.
Bill and Teri enjoy traveling, spending time with their seven grandchildren, and cruising the lake on their pontoon during the summer.
