The Wedding Parlour is one of the most distinctive and prestigious bridal shops in Northern Minnesota. We have been serving Grand Rapids, Bemidji, International Falls, Duluth, Cloquet, the Iron Range and Wisconsin with great care and detail for over 34 years. The Wedding Parlour, which first opened in 1984, was located downtown in the now Brewed Awakenings building. When Bill and Teri Haig purchased the business in 1996, they began the research to build a free standing store to house their rapidly growing business. The perfect location came available on 3.5 acres bordered by pine trees in northeast Grand Rapids.
The new building to house the Wedding Parlour was custom designed by Bill and Teri using red pine logs harvested from their family homestead in Deer River. A log building is a unique concept for a bridal shop, and it was Teri's desire that the atmosphere not have a rustic feel. Teri's dreams were realized in creating a space of beauty, comfort and elegance, and the new store opened in March 2004. Here we pay homage to the local logging and tourism industry, and provide a comfortable shopping experience for all of our customers.
It is the goal of The Wedding Parlour to make everyone feel special throughout the entire shopping experience. Since 1984, bridal consultants have assisted thousands of brides to help them realize their wedding dreams. As one of the most reputable bridal shops in Minnesota, we offer the latest designers and fashions to satisfy even the most discerning of tastes. Bridal style selections include formal, elegant, modern and vintage. With a wide variety of price ranges, you will be sure to find a gown to suit your bridal budget combined with superb attention to detail and customer service.
