Appointments for Bridal Gown Try-Ons
If you are interested in coming to try on our selections of bridal gowns or to order wedding tuxedos, we do require appointments. Saturday appointments book out about 2 weeks ahead so please schedule well in advance to ensure we can reserve a spot for you!
Brides may have 4 adult guests accompany them for a bridal try-on appointment. While we love children, please, during this "bridal focused time", no children allowed.
When shopping for bridesmaid gowns, please let us know in advance how many maids you will be having and we will make every effort to accomodate an appointment time for all of you!
Appointments for Tuxedo Bridal Parties
About ninety days before your event, please request an appointment by calling 218.327.2307, or click here to fill out the form. Bride and groom, please attend the appointment together to choose the wedding outfits. We recommend you bring a fabric swatch of your maid gown to your appointment to ensure color coordinating for vest and ties. If you purchased maid gowns from The Wedding Parlour, swatches are available in-store. Measurements and a non-refundable down payment of $30 from each renter is required sixty days before your event to reserve the tuxedos and place the order. Those under the age of 18 have a measurement deadline of thirty days before the event to give them a little extra time just in case they grow. We will add their reservation to the order as soon as we get their measurements.

The Wedding Parlour accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. All stock and special order purchases require a down payment of 60%, with the final payment due in four to six months, before alterations begin, or before the item leaves the store. Tuxedo rentals require at non-refundable, non-transferable $30 down payment, with the final payment due before the tuxedo leaves the store.

In an effort to keep our merchandise clean and salt-free during the winter months, if you are shopping for gowns, we request you remove your footwear. We provide footies for your use, or you may choose to bring in alternative footwear.
Due to gowns not always fitting our customers properly as they are being tried on, men are not allowed in our bridal viewing room. There is a table and chairs in the tuxedo area, and men are welcome to sit there during the ninety minute appointment.
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final. No returns, exchanges or refunds.
Alterations on Gowns
We offer alterations on regular priced, Wedding Parlour-purchased gowns. We want to ensure your gown fits perfectly so we ask you to come alone or bring one trusted person. (NO CHILDREN) The fitting and pinning process is intricate work and requires concentration in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere. Please have the shoes and undergarments you will be wearing under your gown with you. Maid fittings take about 30 minutes, and bridal gown fittings about an hour.
Alterations on Tuxedos
The adjusting of sleeves or pant hems is common in rental tuxedos. The Wedding Parlour offers complimentary tuxedo alterations on site. We may ask tuxedo customers to come later in the day or week to pick up altered tuxedos.
If members of your party have been measured somewhere other than The Wedding Parlour and the tuxedo does not fit, the customer will incur the overnight shipping fee of up to $125 to bring in a replacement piece, and overnight shipping may not be available on Fridays.
